Step 01

Landing page

Open yocker.in in any browser. The landing page shows what Yocker does, the pricing tiers, and a clear path to sign up.

What to look for

  • Top nav: Pricing, FAQ, and the "Sign up" CTA
  • Hero: post a job in 3 minutes, get branded candidate reports
  • Pricing: Starter (free), Growth (₹2,499/mo), Pro (₹5,499/mo)

Step 02

Sign up your company

Click "Sign up" top-right. Pick "HR" to start a company.

Fields

  1. Your name — appears on emails to candidates
  2. Work email — this is your login. We send a verification link.
  3. Company name — the brand candidates see
  4. Phone (optional) — only used by our team for billing
  5. Password — 8 characters minimum

What happens next

Yocker creates your company tenant, makes you the Owner, and sends a verification email. Click the link in the email to activate.

Heads upEmail arrives in ~30 seconds. Check spam. Link expires after 24 hours.
Step 03

Your HR dashboard

After login you land at /hr. This is your home base.

Sidebar

  • Jobs — your active and closed roles
  • Team — invite recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers
  • Company — brand, logo, location, currency
  • Billing — plan, upgrade request, payment history
Step 04

Post your first job

The job form is one page — all fields visible at once.

Required

  • Title — e.g. "Senior React Engineer"
  • Description — what the role is about
  • Requirements — skills, experience, qualifications
  • Location — city or "Remote"
  • Employment type — Full-time / Part-time / Contract / Internship

Optional

  • Salary range — min & max; shown to candidates
  • Skills — comma-separated; powers the match score
  • Application cap — auto-closes after N applicants (blank = unlimited)

AI-assisted description

Click "Generate with AI" for a draft based on the title. Edit before saving.

TipBe specific in requirements. Match scores depend on your skills list — vague inputs produce vague rankings.
Step 05

Job is live — share it

After saving, click the job card to open the applicants page.

The "Copy link" button

Top-right. Copies a public URL like:

https://yocker.in/#/c/your-company/jobs/123

Paste anywhere — LinkedIn, WhatsApp, your website, recruitment agencies.

Status options

  • Open — accepting applications
  • Closed — apply form gated; existing applications archived for 30 days
Step 06

Branded careers page

Every company gets a public URL — yocker.in/c/your-slug — with your logo and brand.

What candidates see

  • Your logo + company name in the top nav
  • List of open roles with location, salary, and "Apply"
  • Each role expands to a full detail page with the apply form

Where to share

LinkedIn company page, your website footer, email signatures, recruitment outreach.

Step 07

Pipeline & candidate kanban

Click any job to open the applicants page — a kanban board with one column per stage.

Default stages

  • New — fresh applications
  • Screening — initial CV review
  • Interview — phone screens, technical rounds
  • Offer — negotiating
  • Hired / Rejected — terminal states

Per-candidate actions

  • Click to open full profile — resume, experience, education, answers
  • Drag between columns to advance
  • Match score shows how well their skills align

Close & reopen a role

Each job has "Close position". Two choices:

  • Keep for 30 days — archive all candidates; can reopen anytime in window
  • Delete review-stage data now — keep hired/rejected; delete others immediately

If you don't reopen within 30 days, we email you to confirm cleanup.

Step 08

Download branded candidate reports

Need to send a shortlist to a hiring manager? Yocker exports a branded PDF in one click.

What's in the report

  • Candidate name, email, phone, location
  • Work experience (role, company, duration)
  • Landscape-A4 layout, one candidate per page
  • Your company logo at the top of every page

How

  1. Open the applicants page
  2. Select candidates via checkboxes
  3. Click "Export PDF"
  4. Browser downloads candidates-{job-name}-{date}.pdf
PrivacyReport excludes private fields (date of birth, salary expectations, internal screening Qs).
Step 09

Complete your company profile

Click "Company" in the sidebar.

Fields that matter

  • Logo — careers page + emails + PDF reports. PNG/SVG up to 2MB
  • Description — 2-3 sentence pitch on careers page
  • Website, Industry, Location, Size
  • Currency — INR / USD / EUR / GBP / SGD / AED
TipUpload a square logo (1:1 aspect). Auto-resized to 512px.
Step 10

Invite your team

Click "Team". Invite by email with a specific role.

How to upgrade

  1. Click "Request upgrade" on billing page
  2. Pick monthly or annual (save 20% on annual)
  3. Complete UPI payment to the displayed VPA
  4. Enter the UPI reference / transaction ID
  5. Yocker approves within 24 hours (usually 1 hour during business hours)
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can multiple recruiters share one company?
Yes — invite teammates. No per-seat fee on any plan.
What happens if I cancel?
Account downgrades to Starter limits but keeps all historical data. Re-upgrade anytime.
How are candidates ranked?
Match score based on overlap between resume (skills + experience + education) and job's requirements + skills.
What file types for resumes?
PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT up to 5MB.
Are my candidates private?
Yes — every company is fully isolated. Yocker staff don't view tenant data.
Do I need a credit card for Starter?
No. Starter is free forever, no card required.
