Why Spotlight works and snaps don't
Spotlight is Snapchat's public feed, and every Spotlight video has a web page anyone can open. Private snaps, chats and friends' stories are sent to specific people and have no link at all, so no website can fetch them. Anything that claims to is a scam.

Why did a video open in a new page instead of downloading?+
Very large files (over about 400 MB) aren't passed through our server; they open straight from the platform instead. Use your browser's menu (⋮ or long-press the video) and choose Download or Save video.
Is it legal to download videos and photos?+
Only download content that you own, or that you have the creator's permission to save. Respect copyright and each platform's terms. Yocker is meant for personal, lawful use — for example backing up your own content.
